Utopia Ranch has joined a Revolution! Yes, you heard right! A Love Revolution! As many of you know, we are a youth ranch for "at risk" and troubled kids. We have learned that most of these kids have a life changing experience here for one reason and one reason alone; the love of God. Imagine if we all got together and just simply loved each other, our neighbor, the guy at the gas station, our teachers, the boy bagging our groceries at the grocery store. We are in a very interesting time here in the world and we all have the means and ability to simply love one another. I challenge you this week to simply smile at every single person you encounter. That's it! Come back and blog your experience! I will share my experience with you and next week we will have a new love "challenge". Send this to everyone that you know. If we are going to get involved in a Revolution, let's make it BIG! Like GOD sized! I want people to feel the love! Joyce Meyer has a book published: the Love Revolution;if you can, pick up a copy. Love and Blessings to you all!

This sounds like a lot of fun. I can't wait to see peoples reactions. Hopefully it'll make someone have a great day.
ReplyDeleteI want to see peoples reactions and see if they get weirded out or something. It going to be wicked funny. Hopefully it makes someone feel special though.
ReplyDeleteGive it a try! Tomorrow go out on a limb and introduce yourself to someone that you have never met. Maybe at church?
ReplyDeleteHow's everyone doing with "showing the love", awful quiet around here!!!!
ReplyDeleteOK so it came to my attention today that some of you are really struggling right now. It is hard to show that love when you aren't feeling much of it in your heart. The person that shared this with me said "I know this is probably the most important time to do it (show the love that is), but I just don't have it in me right now". This person is absolutely right! The best way to feel the love is to show it! When you are having a difficult day and you just don't feel like you can muster a smile for another person, think about what has been given for us to enjoy the freedom, peace, and love of God. Think about our troops that fight for our freedoms, think about the sacrifice's that their families make for us. Imagine that the person you don't feel like smiling at in the grocery store has a loved one in Iraq that they miss beyond words. Imagine that your smile will change their day. You can do this people. Love can change anything, it can change everything! Get out there and show them you love them!
